JULY 11, Run Casper's Airport Runway For A Good Cause

Here is something that runners love to do: run for a good cause.

It's not often that anyone gets to walk on or run on a long airport runway. But why not? It is called a "runway" after all.

Mark your calendar now and plan to join us for a morning at the airport, where you get a rare chance to step onto an active runway and experience it from a new perspective.

Run the Runway 5K is back after a three-year hiatus! The Casper/Natrona County International Airport is thrilled to bring back this one-of-a-kind run/walk on July 11th.

Fun runners, 5K enthusiasts, marathon trainees, aviation fanatics, avid walkers, and families- take a Saturday morning to new heights this summer in an adrenaline-pumping adventure like no other. This fun run and walk is for anyone who loves adventure, aviation, outdoor recreation, and community. Together, we’ll hit the runway for a 5K run/walk, with proceeds going to the Fly Casper Alliance Scholarship Fund, supporting Casper College Flight School students.

The airport fire trucks will be out, community and partner booths to visit, as well as snacks, beverages, and airport goodies.

Down to the nitty-gritty – here’s what you need to know:

The run will be held on July 11^th from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Registration is $15 and closes on July 3rd. No day-of registration!
Registration proceeds go to the Fly Casper Alliance Scholarship Fund.
Children under five are free.
No pets permitted. Service animals welcome.
Participants will park in a separate lot from the main lot. See parking map here.
