Finding The Best Fresh Made Cinnamon Rolls In Wyoming
Let's road trip Wyoming to find the best warm morning Cinnamon Rolls. Not premade, frozen, and shoved into an oven with premade icing. But the real deal, freshly made in every way right there on the spot.
There is no way to name every place that does this, so let's just name a few.
In Casper, there is Eggington's Restaurant. Best known for their outstanding breakfast, they make and ice those gewey morning treats right there on the spot.
Also in Casper is Great Harvest Bakery. You can smell all of their breads coming out of the oven throughout the day. Watch them pull your cinnamon roll out of the oven and ice it right in front of you.
Cookies & Kisses Bakery in Buffalo, Wyoming, makes them right in the back, and wow, does that back room smell good. I was given a tour while they were making them. It filled the senses. Cookies & Kisses also has a bakery in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Crumb Mountain Bakery and Goods in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Freshly made and worth it.
There are some other places that sell great Cinnamon Rolls, but they did not meet our high standards of making them fresh on the spot.
Cinnamon rolls likely originated in 17th-century Northern Europe, particularly Germany and Scandinavia, after spice traders made cinnamon more accessible. While Sweden is famous for the kanelbulle, early versions emerged from German schnecken pastries, later spreading to America with immigrants and evolving into the modern, heavily frosted treat popular today.
