The Mills Maverik Is Getting A Makeover
If part of your morning routine, or if your daily lunch spot is the Maverik convenience store in Mills, your routine is about to change. The store will be closed beginning Monday, January 26th, until about the third week of February while the store undergoes remodeling.

Fortunately, if the Maverik is your choice for fuel, the pumps will still be functioning. The bummer part of the store's closing is that you won't be able to grab your morning coffee, breakfast burrito, or cinnamon roll. Obviously, those aren't the only great things about Maverik, but they're some of my favorites.
During the remodel, they will fix plumbing issues, give the inside a makeover, and update the overall Maverik experience. If you're like me, when your routine gets thrown off, it may take a bit to get it all figured out.

Rest easy knowing that at the speed at which life moves, one month will fly by pretty quickly, so your daily stop into the Maverik for coffee will be back on track before you know it.
If you haven't noticed, big things are happening in Mills, with new businesses popping up all over the area, businesses with a long history in the city making a comeback, and the new park that's being dedicated to first responders and those who've served the country. Don't forget February 28 is the date of the big fundraiser for the park happening at The Hangar.
