The Casper Police Department is kicking of September with a new, easier, way to file non-emergency police reports online.

Just launched September 5th, you can go online and fill out the report for any non-emergency situation 24 hours a day. This easy to understand and simple process will help work with your schedule and at your convenience.

Some of the non-emergency items you can report through the new online portal are:

  • Civil Report
  • Lost/Stolen Bicycles
  • Animal Issues
  • Vandalism/Graffiti/Damaged Property
  • Theft of Property
  • Hit & Run
  • Identity Theft/Fraud
  • Lost Items

This new option is for non-emergency issues and it's still very important that your contact the dispatch center when a crime or incident are actively occurring within the city limits of Casper.

According to a post on the Casper Police Department's social media, to fill out a report, you won't need to speak with an officer or visit the Hall Of Justice.

When your report is submitted on the site, it will be reviewed and you will receive confirmation of the report being reviewed.

It's also important to remember that false reports are punishable by possible jailtime and/or fines.
