Infant From Amber Alert Found in Wyoming, Parents in Custody
The Wyoming Highway Patrol recovered an infant who was the subject of an Amber Alert early Thursday morning.
The child, three-month-old Khaliyah Alvarez-Caro, was found after state troopers stopped the suspect vehicle in Lander at roughly 1:45 a.m.
Jasmine Alvarez, the child's 21-year-old mother, was arrested.
Gabriel Caro, the child's 19-year-old father, was found in downtown Salt Lake City and was taken into custody, according to the South Salt Lake Police Department.
Both parents were identified as suspects in the original Amber Alert.
