The Casper Horseheads collegiate baseball team fell to 2-2 in Expedition league play as they were swept by the Badlands Big Sticks from Dickinson, North Dakota on Wednesday night 8-7 and 4-2 at Lansing Field. In the opener of that doubleheader, the Horseheads made it interesting with 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th before the rally fell short. Kanaikai Grugen had 3 hits and an RBI for Casper with starting pitcher Starling Strong giving up 5 runs in 4 innings of work. The Horseheads certainly had their trouble in the field with 4 errors. Casper lost to the nightcap 4-2, getting a run in the 1st and one more in the 6th. Charles Steal had a nice game for Casper going 3-4 with an RBI. Pitcher Tommy Paul have up just one earned run in 4 innings. The 2 team wrap up that series on Thursday night at Lansing.
