Daniel Taylor Enters Alford Plea In Child Sex Abuse Case

A Casper man faces up to 50 years in prison for the sexual abuse of a minor.

24-year old Daniel Taylor entered an Alford plea, admitting prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him, without pleading guilty.

The charges stem from a November 2011 incident with a young girl.

Taylor initially denied the accusations, but prosecutors say he later admitted to officers he had inappropriate contact with the girl one time when he was drunk.

Prosecutors say he also faces charges out of Texas for indecent exposure.
