The eastbound lanes of I-80 from the Archer Interchange six miles east of Cheyenne to the Nebraska border has been closed at the request of the Nebraska Department of Roads. A dust storm east of Sidney, Neb., has resulted in zero visibility and multiple crashes in the area, closing the highway there and causing traffic to back up to the west. It is expected to take at least until nightfall for conditions to improve and the crashes to be cleared. WYDOT Authorized Travel will be allowed for eligible Wyoming drivers whose destinations are on the closed highway section before the problem areas in Nebraska.
