CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming School Facilities Commission will work with state lawmakers on how to create a more stable list of school construction projects.

The commission oversees school construction funding in the state. It ranks proposed school projects around the state on a needs index list, which is evaluated and adjusted annually.

The Associated Press reports that the methodology of evaluating current school facilities has changed over the past years, which in turn changes where schools fall on the list.

The School Facilities Commission, whose members are appointed by the governor, says changes on the list can make it difficult for districts to plan schools.
