A Casper man might have a chance to get out of prison after admitting he had a sexual encounter with a teen.

Cody Dodge was sentenced to five-to-eight years in prison, with a boot camp recommendation, after pleading guilty to one charge of second degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Investigators say dodge and the victim were at a friend’s house in December 2011, where Dodge provided alcohol to the victim.

Court records indicate the two returned to Dodge’s house where they had sex.

Prosecutors say dna evidence backs up their case.

If Dodge completes the boot camp requirement, the court might consider a sentence review.
