David Wilson Changes Plea In Sex Abuse Case
A Mills man is not contesting charges that he sexually assaulted a young girl.
Fifty-year-old David Wilson has entered an Alford Plea to one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and one count of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
Mills police say the victim told investigators that Wilson had touched her inappropriately in March of this year.
A friend also told police that she witnessed some of the incidents.
Investigators say there was another report from a restaurant waitress, who described seeing a similar incident last November.
With an Alford Plea, Wilson does not admit he committed the act, but agrees prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him.
As a part of the plea deal, the state will seek no more than a four-to-seven-year prison sentence.
