Trial is underway for a Casper man who has already been convicted of trying to kill his wife, but this one is under different circumstances.

Clint Webb has pleaded not guilty to one charge of interference with a peace officer.

Court documents say in October 2014, Webb was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in the attempted murder case, but instead was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.

Webb objected to the motion, in an angry manner and extra security had to be called in to restrain him.

Shortly after being escorted out of the courtroom, an incident took place, and a Natrona County Sheriff's Deputy told investigators that Clint tried to head butt him several times.

Both men ended up on the floor and the deputy ended up going to the hospital.

The trial is scheduled to run through Thursday.

Webb has already been convicted by a jury of attempted second degree murder, and is scheduled to be sentenced in that case next week.
