A Natrona County man has been sentenced for his role in a bar fight earlier this year.

Christopher Kesselhon was sentenced to a 3-5 year suspended prison sentence, with 4 years of supervised probation, after prosecutors say he stabbed a man at the Alibi bar in Casper, back in April.

According to police, Kesselhon thought that Ronald Halligan was trying to touch his wife, and then he tried to stab Halligan with a large bowie knife.

halligan was able to catch the knife before it went into his stomach, but he did suffer a deep laceration on his hand.

Afterwards he punched halligan in the chin, knocking out several of his front teeth.

Both men were treated and released from the Wyoming Medical Center.
