A 28-year-old Cheyenne man was arrested for drunk driving after crashing into a school bus in south Cheyenne early Wednesday morning.

Police spokesman Officer David Inman says it happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 500 block of W. Jefferson Road.

Inman says Shaun Davis was driving west on W. Jefferson when he crossed into the left lane, struck the south entrance curb to the Boys and Girls Club and rolled through the parking lot, striking the left rear side of an unoccupied school bus.

"He told our officers that he was coming from the Outlaw, where he only had one drink," said Inman.  "He failed all initial maneuvers (and) was transported to the hospital."

"He was informed he was under arrest for DWI," Inman added.  "He agreed to a breath test and results were 0.16."

Davis is currently being held in the Laramie County jail awaiting his initial court appearance.
