One person was taken into custody in connection with Wednesday's reported stabbing, according to Casper police. 


Two people were taken to a hospital after police responded to a reported stabbing Wednesday night.

One person was hospitalized and in stable condition while the other was treated and released from Wyoming Medical Center, Sgt. Sara Nelson of the Casper Police Department told K2 Radio News on Thursday.

Police responded to the area of East Second Street and South Iowa Avenue at roughly 8:50 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a stabbing. Iowa was blocked off for a couple of hours as police investigated.

Multiple people were involved in the incident, Nelson added.

Nelson says the investigation continues and there is no threat to the public in connection with the incident.
