Casper Man Sentenced on Sexual Abuse Charge

A Casper man who prosecutors say sexually abused an 8-year-old girl was sentenced Tuesday in Natrona County District Court.

Kenneth Hart will spend up to 15 years in prison after entering a no contest plea to one count of second degree sexual abuse of a minor. He will receive credit for 264 days already served.

Prosecutors say Hart sexually abused the girl between January and September of 2011. Prosecutors also say Hart admitted to another act of sexual abuse in a previous interview with authorities last winter.

Hart will not be eligible for parole. He will also be required to pay over $8,000 in restitution to fund the victim's counseling.
