A Casper woman who investigators say tried to steal from four Casper businesses entered a guilty plea to one count of attempted burglary Tuesday.

22-year-old Kayla Page pleaded guilty in connection to an incident in October of 2009, where Page says she entered the Ink Shop tattoo parlor off East Yellowstone Highway with the intent to steal but ultimately did not.

Investigators allege Page entered three more Casper businesses, however, per Page’s plea deal, those charges were dropped. Investigators say Page broke into the Fantastic Sams hair salon off CY Avenue and stole a $450 cash register and $150 in October. They also say she entered the Dragon Wall restaurant off 2nd Street and stole $350 in November.

A fourth incident places Page at a Subway restaurant on Wyoming Blvd. in December, however nothing was taken from that location.

Prosecutors recommended Page spend three to five years at the Wyoming Women’s Center. That sentence could be suspended, however, after three years of supervised probation.
