Negotiations continue with landowners in proximity to the Bridle Trail in Rotary Park. Repeated misuse of private property in the area brought things to a head last fall when one property owner threatened to close off access to trail heads. Since then, both landowner and trail user committee's have worked to find agreement.

Stuart Hill, Natrona County Parks Board Chair says, at this point, he believes there will be no trail closures.

"As soon as the snow and mud clear off it should be open for everybody. We're still in negotiations with one or two and we ask that everybody still be good citizens and that helps with the owners up there."

Hill says they continue to clarify historical easements and boundaries. There's also a call for 'brass cap' boundary markers on adjacent lands to assist the county in more accurate mapping of the park.
