Brandon Bayne Sentenced To Prison For Robbing Casper Bank
An Oregon man is heading to prison for robbing an east-side Casper bank.
Forty-two-year-old Brandon Bayne was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison, after admitting he robbed the Bank of the West on Wyoming Boulevard in July.
Prosecutors said bayne entered the bank and demanded that the manager fill a small bag with cash.
He claimed to have a gun, although witnesses say a weapon was never shown.
Bayne left the bank with almost $4,000 in cash, and was captured about an hour later in Douglas, after police there were able to identify him and his car based on descriptions given to them.
Most of the money was recovered.
