Bradley Davis Charged With Aggravated Assault
A Casper man is accused of stabbing another man in an argument.
Twenty two year old Bradley Davis has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.
Investigators with the Casper Police Department say during the early morning hours on Tuesday, February 16th, the victim was driving Davis' car near Honeysuckle and CY Avenue with Davis riding in the passenger seat, when Davis started attacking the victim.
The victim said Davis was in an argument with his ex-girlfriend earlier and when the victim realized he was driving Davis to the ex-girlfriend's house, he didn't stop driving.
The victim said Davis then started punching him in the face and later he was hit again with an object and felt blood running down his face.
The victim ran inside a gas station to get away, and the clerk at the gas station later saw Davis lay down a box cutter type knife.
When interviewed, Davis said he thought the victim was stealing the car and admitted to the punching and using an object.
Police were able to detect an alcohol odor coming from Davis at the time.
Davis is being held on $10,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
