Authorities in Washakie County are searching for a man gone missing from the Worland area over the weekend.

91-year-old George Sumida was last seen at the Worland American Legion on Saturday.  He was wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt, denim pants and glasses.  He is described as having brown eyes, gray hair, 5'9" tall and weighing 135 pounds.

Early reports indicate that Sumida may have early on-set dementia, although he hasn't been officially diagnosed. Another report says that Sumida may be afraid of thunderstorms.

Officials in surrounding counties have been notified and Washakie County ground teams are being aided in the search by Casper-based and Gillette-based Civil Air Patrol aircraft.
