12 Days of Christmas More Expensive this Year

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — What's the cost of the "The Twelve Days of Christmas?"

The PNC Wealth Management Christmas Price Index says to buy every item — from 12 drummers drumming to a partridge and a pear tree — would cost about $27,673.

That's up one percent or nearly $300 from last year.

But buying those same items on the Internet will cost $42,959, about 8 percent more than last year's Internet price.
