YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — Scientists and others will gather in Yellowstone National Park for three days next week to discuss what they know about the geothermal system in the Old Faithful area.

The meeting will take place next Monday through Wednesday at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge, and will be open to the public.

Scientists and park managers will review everything they know and still don't know about the complex system of geysers and hot springs.

Park officials say the goal is to help inform any future decisions that involve changing the infrastructure in the Old Faithful area.
