CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's snowpack saw some significant melting in the last week.

The snowpack dropped from 92 percent of normal last week to 69 percent this week.

However, it is still better than at this time last year, when the state was already down to 34 percent of normal.

Lee Hackleman of the Natural Resources Conservation Service says with warm weather across the state, he expects the snowpack to drop considerably more this week.
