Another Front Range showdown is on tap for the Wyoming Cowboys, as they visit the Air Force Falcons Saturday night in Colorado Springs.

Wyoming (6-3, 4-1) is looking for their sixth win in their last seven games. The Cowboys have won three of the last four in the series, but lost in Colorado Springs two years ago, 31-17.

Air Force (4-5, 3-2) is in need of two more victories to get bowl eligible. They enter off a loss to academy rival Army last week, as the Falcons got shutout, 21-0.

This will be the third option team Wyoming has faced this season, but Cowboys’ head coach Craig Bohl said it is significantly different.

Junior defensive end Josiah Hall is a native of Colorado Springs. KOWB’s David Settle caught up with him earlier in the week to recap the Border War win, talk about his hometown connection and preview Air Force.

The 56th meeting between Wyoming and Air Force is at Falcon Stadium tonight. The Falcons have 28 games in the series to the Cowboys 24. There have been three ties. The first meeting was Nov. 2, 1957.

Kick-off is at 8:15 p.m. You can listen to the game on KOWB (AM 1290) or listen online or on the KOWB app. It is available on TV through ESPNU.
