This past Saturday night at Sonny's Rv the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies and United We Feed presented Food for Thought, a Casper Culinary Cook-Off, a fundraiser to benefit Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies.

The crowd of over 250 people were treated to 12 chefs each with their own recipes using the ingredient "mushroom" that was supplied by Rocky Mountain Mushrooms out of Shoshoni, Wyoming. Whether whites , creminis or portobello's , each chef had a taste for everyone.The range of dishes varied from a mushroom ragu, to a bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed shroom to a pasta dish with mushrooms,crayfish and chicken, and everything in between.

Trophies were awarded to the top three finishers in the Judges and Peoples choice categories. Judges were Sally Ann  Shurmur of the Casper Star, Jake Gandolpho from TV's MasterChef, Robert Hesse of TV's Hell's Kitchen and Brian Scott from K2 Radio.

Between ticket sales, Live and Silent auctions and sponsorships this turned out to be a very successful fundraiser for the Food Bank Of The Rockies and is expected to become an annual event.
