Area residents will have an opportunity Thursday night to discuss the state’s plans to close the Interstate-25 eastbound onramp at Bryan Stock Trail.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation is moving forward with plans to permanently close the onramp, citing increased traffic on I-25, limited sight-distance and a lack of an acceleration lane to merge with traffic.

Under the plan, those wanting to go eastbound on I-25 would use the on-ramp from Old Yellowstone Highway.  A final date for the onramp closure has not been set.

WYDOT officials will discuss the proposal Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the agency’s District Two office on Bryan Stock Trail.  The meeting is open to the public.
