Wildfire in Albany County Burns Roughly 750 Acres, Still Growing
A wildfire first reported over the weekend in northern Albany County has burned over one square mile of rangeland.
A Type Three team is inbound to lead the response, Albany County Fire Warden Chad Dinges told K2 Radio News on Monday.
The blaze is located in the area of Fetterman Road and Devil's Creek Road. It is burning on private ranchland, Dinges said.
Further information is expected to be released as the new management team assumes command of the fire, Dinges continued.
There were no immediate results of injuries or road closures in connection with the fire.
