Two Colorado women are denying charges that they were selling sexual favors in Casper.

Brittany Anaya and Esperanza Pena have each pleaded not guilty to charges of soliciting prostitution and possession of a controlled substance.

Casper Police investigators say on Friday afternoon May 23rd, they were called to the La Quinta Inn on West F Street, because the management wanted to evict the occupants of one room, due to an odor of marijuana coming from the room.

Officers later made contact with Anaya and Esperanza who consented to a search and admitted to smoking marijuana in the room earlier in the day.

Police also found women's lingerie and nearly $2,000 in cash, as well as a used condom.

After having their cell phone searched, investigators eventually found text messages and pictures related to prostitution, and the two later admitted, that it was the reason why they were in Casper.

Both women are free on bond awaiting trial and could face up to six months in jail on the drug possession charge, if convicted.
