Governor Gordon wrote on his Facebook page that "Targeted attacks on LGBTQ people and the increasing visibility of anti-Semitism in our country is both deeply concerning and unamerican."
Governor Gordon celebrated the opening of Wyoming's first skilled nursing facility for Veterans on Thursday, participating in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly-constructed Veterans Home of Wyoming.
Following the resignation of Ed Buchanan as Wyoming's Secretary of State, it was unclear who would serve as the interim Secretary, until the newly-elected Secretary of State is sworn in next January.
"I can tell you from my time in classrooms that the mothers of this state--the women of this state--are the best and most remarkable resource that Wyoming has for the best and most remarkable future that we can have, which is our kids" said Gordon.
Governor Gordon and six other governors representing states included in the Southwest Power Pool (SPP), are deeply concerned over the consequences of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Transport Rule and its impact on the SPP’s ability to deliver reliable electricity.
In their announcement, they stated that they are donating the profits from orders to states who are, in their words, "forced-birth Republican hellholes" to the National Network of Abortion Funds.
Jennifer Thomson has been announced as the new Major Project Development Manager, in a position that was developed and funded through "a joint collaboration between Governor Gordon's office and the Wyoming Legislature."
