Calling all hot air balloon fans. The Casper Balloon Roundup is back and bigger than ever, starting on Friday, July 29th and going throughout the weekend.

According to a press release from the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce, the Casper Balloon Roundup is returning to Casper on July 29, 30, and 31 and it is sure to light up the sky with some incredible imagery.

Balloonists from all over the Rocky Mountain West are in Casper for the 11th Annual Casper Balloon Roundup. Things got started this morning and will continue through Sunday the 26th.

When dawn broke over Casper on Friday and residents began to wake up, they looked up into the skies and saw something that they don’t normally see. There, right above their heads, were numbers hot air balloons. That’s because today was the annual kick-off of the Casper Balloon Roundup, sponsored by Re/Max The Group, Parkway Plza and Townsquare Media.

From one hot air balloon 8 years ago the ReMax Casper Balloon Roundup has grown to 19 balloons this year. The Casper Balloon Roundup got an early star this year with 14 hot-air balloons taking to the skies early this morning.

In the early morning hours in the skies over Casper this week you will most likely see a hot-air balloon or two or a dozen!
