'Art Quilts from the Wyoming Frontier', one of three new exhibitions at the Nicolaysen Art Museum this fall, features master quilter from Riverton, Marta Amundsen. Amundsen will be in town to offer a day long workshop on October 20th.

"It's basically a full day workshop and it's rare to get a chance to work for a full day with a master quilter this cheap. It's basically $55 for nonmembers, $45 for members and then $30 for students."

Museum Curator, Lisa Hatchadoorian says they're asking anyone interested to preregister by the 16th. She says supplies are not included and all skill levels are welcome.

The workshop, entitled, THE COWGIRL’S BOOK OF MACHINE QUILTING runs 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday October 20th.

To register call the Nicolaysen Art Museum at 307-235-5247 or email your requests to zgallegos@thenic.org

The accompanying exhibition, Art Quilts from the Wyoming Frontier, will be on display through January 6th.
