The 17th annual Master Gardener's Spring Conference is coming next month.

Horticulturalist, Donna Cuin, at the University Ag Resource Center in Casper says they're repeating last years theme of edible gardening, along with seed saving and pest control.

"We'll do the same format that we had last year with the three speakers speaking in the morning and then offering breakout sessions and people will get to choose three of the break out sessions in the afternoon."

Early bird registration is $40 dollars before April 11th and goes up to $60 after that. The event happens Saturday, April 21st, at the Natrona County Agricultural Resource & Learning Center, 2011 Fairgrounds Road.

The Spring Plant sale is just around the corner as well.

Many gardeners have more perennials in their garden than they know what to do with and the Masters Gardeners  can help you with that dilemma.

"As we're getting ready for the coming garden season we would be glad to take donations from people's gardens if they have they have plants that they want to thin out."

Cuin says plants, flowers, and bulbs that need thinning would be a great contribution to the Master Gardeners Spring Sale in May and she says, if needed, someone can come and help you to dig them up.

Give them a call, 235 9400.

The Spring Plant sale is Saturday May 19th.
