Register for the 16th annual Natrona County Master Gardeners Conference before Friday April 1st and save 10 bucks.

This year's conference theme is focused on edible gardens.

"We have  three great speakers who'll be coming and talking about developing a kitchen garden or growing vegetables at high altitude and then using the vegetables and herbs that you grow in your garden in your kitchen."

Horticulturalist, Donna Cuin, says the conference, with its "garden to the table" theme, is on Saturday April 9th from 8:30 a.m. and runs til 4pm. The conference fee is $30 dollars and goes up to $40 after Friday.  Plus...If you bring a friend along that has never attended, that friend pays only $15 dollars.

Speakers include high altitude garden consultants, Penn and Cord Parmenter, Colorado State University plant pathologist, Patti O'Neal, talking about kitchen garden design and cooking instructor and cookbook author, Linda Hoffman, of Fort Collins sharing tasty ways to bring your garden to the table.

Again, that's the 16th annual Master Gardener's Spring Conference, Saturday, April 9th, at the Agricultural Resource Center in Casper, 2011 Fairgrounds road.
