Dean Strang, a defense attorney featured in the Netflix documentary “Making a Murder,” will speak in Laramie Friday, April 22, at 7 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Strang will discuss systemic problems with the criminal justice system in a moderated discussion during his talk at UW. He will also address broader consequences of the Steven Avery case featured in the Netflix documentary.

Strang works at Marquette University Law School, the University of Wisconsin Law School and the University of Wisconsin’s Division of Continuing studies as an adjunct professor. He was catapulted into the spotlight after appearing on “Making a Murder,” where he represented convicted killer Stephen Avery.
