CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Logging work west of the Snowy Range Summit on Wyoming Highway 130 could pose hazards for motorists.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation says that motorists should watch for flaggers, machinery and slowly moving logging trucks on the highway. A logging contractor began working in the area this week.

The work zone runs approximately from Headquarters Park Road to the Forest Service's Brush Creek Visitor Center.

The logging work is necessary to remove trees killed by the pine beetle epidemic. The contract for the work runs through next March.
