Two men charged with the theft of a number of antique guns from a Casper historian are now saying they did it.

Twenty-two year old Lennance Miller and twenty-four year old Cody Sylvester have changed their pleas to guilty on one charge of burglary.

According to prosecutors, in early October, Bruce Berst, who is a historian and re-enacter, reported to police that a number of historical antique guns and other items had been stolen from his collection.

During the investigation, one person told officers that Miller had tried to sell him some of the guns.

Police later collected evidence from an energy drink bottle that had been left behind at the scene of the crime, and found a garage door opener that had been tampered with, so that the door could be opened manually.

Both Miller and Sylvester will be sentenced at a later date, and could face up to eight years in prison.
