The Kaycee girls basketball team stayed alive in the 1A State Tournament thanks to some late heroics from Tinley Pierson who scored with .8 seconds to go to lift the Bucs to a 46-44 win over Lingle-Fort Laramie on Friday morning at Casper College. Pierson drove the length of the floor for a lay-up with less than a second to go for 2 of her game high 23 points. She was 7-15 from the field and also pulled down 14 rebounds. Shelly Rameriz contributed a dozen points to the Kaycee cause. Lingle was led in scoring by Savanah Mirich with 17 with Ashley Riley had 15. Kaycee will be in the 5th place game Saturday morning at 9 at Natrona County High School to take on on Little Snake River
