Laramie County Man Arrested For Stabbing Brother With Steak Knife
A 22-year-old Cheyenne-area man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing his brother with a steak knife and hitting a trailer park manager with his car.
According to Capt. Linda Gesell of the Laramie County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to the 3200 Block of South Greeley Highway a little after 5:00 p.m. Thursday on a report of a stabbing.
Gesell says deputies found out two brothers had been arguing over a car, leading one of the brothers to stab the other in the lower back with a steak knife.
They also learned that the same man who had stabbed his brother had run into a trailer park manager with a car after the manager had tried to keep him on the scene following the stabbing. The manager was hit in the legs and was not seriously injured.
Deputies arrested 22-year-old Isiah Diaz on two counts of aggravated assault with injury, reckless endangerment and domestic battery.
The stabbing victim was found near Afflerbach School and taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center with injuries which were not considered to be life-threatening.
