James Knightwolf Pleads Guilty To Theft Of Services
A Washington man with plans to buy various businesses and buildings in Casper, will avoid jail time, after admitting that he didn't pay his hotel bill.
Forty-six year old James Knightwolf was given a six-month suspended jail sentence with six months of probation, after he pleaded guilty to one charge of theft of services.
Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in mid-June, Knightwolf and a friend had stayed at the Parkway Plaza for almost three weeks without paying.
Knightwolf said he had investors, and was going to start a restaurant business, but hotel staff eventually became suspicious.
He has also been ordered to pay more than $1,700 in restitution.
