Investigation Underway After Shots Fired in Northwest Cheyenne
Cheyenne police are actively investigating a shots fired incident.
At about 7:20 p.m. Sunday, police were called to Pointe Park at 930 Gardenia Dr. in northwest Cheyenne for a report of shots fired.
"According to statements, a conflict occurred between the occupants of a white sedan and a 19-year-old male walking along the sidewalk," Public Information Officer Alex Farkas said in a news release.
"A passenger of the sedan pointed a firearm in the direction of the male and shot several times," she added. "No injuries were reported."
Police Working to Follow Up With Several Persons of Interest; Looking for Surveillance Video
Farkas says responding officers are working to follow up with several persons of interest.
Anyone with information regarding the incident, particularly surveillance video, is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 307-637-6521.
