Cheyenne Police: Man Linked To Multi-County Burglary Spree
Cheyenne Police say a 37-year-old Cheyenne man who was arrested on an unrelated warrant has been tied to at least a dozen burglaries in Albany and Laramie counties.
That's according to a post on the CPD Facebook page.

According to the post, 37-year-old Brandon Starkey has been linked to the theft of thousands of dollars worth of tools, a bicycle, at least one handgun and a machine used in paving operations, among other items. The items were recovered following searches of Starkey's home and a storage unit. Footage from security cameras also aided police in their investigation.
Search Of Storage Unit Turns Up Numerous Items.
According to the post:
''During the search of Starkey’s storage unit, evidence was found linking him to a string of burglaries that occurred in July, at ClearHome Self Storage located at 622 West Allison Road. One of the victims reported United States Air Force items and a Hi-Point 9mm handgun were missing from his unit. Investigators were able to recover some of those items during the operation.''
Police say the storage unti search also turned up a machine used in paving operations which had been stolen in Laramie County. Police say items recovered from the storage unit
Meanwhile, a search of Starkey's home turned up stolen tools worth over $10,000, some of which had been stolen from a local contractor, according to the post.
Footage from security cameras allegedly implicates Starkey in a pair of garage thefts and an auto burglary in which a bicycle was stolen.
So far, Starkey has been charged with nine counts of burglary, three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
