PhotoFest! State Wrestling-Quarterfinals

The State Wrestling Tournament moved into its 2nd day at the Ford Center in Casper. The quarterfinal round started the day followed by a round of wrestlebacks. The semi-finals will be late Friday afternoon and headed into that round, defending champion Star Valley leads the girl's teams standings with Sheridan 2nd, Wind River 3rd, Pinedale 4th, and Kemmerer 5th.

In the 2A boys team standings going into the semis, Moorcroft has a 3-point lead over Kemmerer with Thermopolis 3rd, LFL/Southeast 4th, and Big Piney 5th. In 3A Green River has a commanding lead with Pinedale 2nd, Cody 3rd, Rawlins 4th, and Powell 5th.

Finally in 4A as of mid-Friday afternoon, Thunder Basin has a narrow lead with Cheyenne East 2nd, Sheridan 3rd, Rock Springs 4th, and Star Valley 5th. We have some photos to share from the quarterfinal round, primarily from the lighter weights. They can be discovered in our gallery below. Enjoy!
