There will be a lot of action this week as Wyoming schools host four tournaments on Friday and Saturday. The two big tournaments are the annual Don Runner Memorial in Wind River and the Thoman Soda Ash Memorial Duals and Invitational Tournament in Green River. Kelly Walsh and Newcastle are the other two tournament sites. There are also a few duals during the week. A small number of teams will be competing out-of-state.

Don Runner Memorial at Wind River HS = Dubois, Greybull/Riverside, H.E.M., Lander, Lovell, Riverton, Rocky Mountain, Saratoga, Shoshoni, Thermopolis, Wind River, Wyoming Indian = ONLY 1 DAY DUE TO WEATHER

Girls: Wind River wins with 64 pts and 3 2nd-place wrestlers. Thermopolis was 2nd and Shoshoni was a close 3rd. 

Boys: Lovell takes 1st with 151 pts with 5 2nd-place and 3 3rd-place wrestlers. Riverton was 2nd and Thermopolis finished 3rd. 

Newcastle Invite at Newcastle HS = CANCELED!

Thoman Varsity Boys Dual Tournament & Girls Tournament at Green River HS = Big Piney, Campbell County, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Cokeville, Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Laramie, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Wheatland, Worland, Grantsville (UT), Meeker (CO), Rifle (CO) Roosevelt (CO), Salem Hills (UT), Uintah (UT), Renegades      

Girls: Individual tournament matches took place one day 1. 

Boys: Rounds 1-4 have been done, brackets will be finalized after round 5 tomorrow morning.

Cowboy Invitational in Miles City, MT (boys only) = Cody, Thunder Basin

Boys: Cody is currently in 6th and Thunder Basin is 8th.

Boys: Powell is 7th after Day 1 with 87 pts.

Thoman Varsity Boys Dual Tournament & Girls Tournament at Green River HS =  Big Piney, Campbell County, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Cokeville, Evanston, Green River, Kemmerer, Laramie, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs, Thermopolis (girls only) Wheatland, Worland, Grantsville (UT), Meeker (CO), Rifle (CO) Roosevelt (CO), Salem Hills (UT), Uintah (UT).

Uintah, UT won the boys' dual tournament. Cheyenne East took 2nd, and Green River was 3rd.

Grantsville, UT won the girls' division. Pinedale took 2nd, and Campbell County was 3rd. Kemmerer had 4 title winners - Rylie Meyer at 100, Laynee Walker at 120, Kaylie Julander at 140, and Lynsie Julander at 145. Pinedale had 3 winners: Kaylea Mortensen at 105, Mya Swain at 135, and Katyana Dexter at 235.

Cowboy Invitational in Miles City, MT (boys only) = Cody, Thunder Basin

Cody finished 6th and Thunder Basin was 9th. Ty Peterson of Cody was 3rd and part of 8 placers for the Broncs. Antonio Avila placed 1st at 145 for the Bolts. He was 1 of 4 placers for TBHS.

Gering Girls Invitational in Gering, NE = Cheyenne Central, Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Torrington (girls only)

Cheyenne Central won the team title and Lingle-Ft. Laramie Southeast was third. The Indians placed 14 wrestlers. LFL-SE has 3 winners: Hallie Fuller at 140, Isabella Spears at 145, and Josie Houk at 155. 

Golden Eagle Invitational in Longmont, CO = Cheyenne Central (boys only)

Cheyenne Central won the wrestling tournament with 258.5 team points. Isael Beal (120), Andrew Gonzales (132), Thomas Berta (190), and Davin Mattimoe (215) won their division.

Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic at Missoula, MT = Powell (boys only)

Powell finished 7th. Nuss Talon at 103 was their top finisher in 3rd. The Panthers had 9 placers in the top 6.

Madison Invite in Rexburg, ID = Jackson, Star Valley (did not attend)

Jackson placed 13th. Cameron Kendall won the 145-pound division.
