The 2025 Wyoming High School football championship games at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie are ready for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14 and 15. These are the 10 teams and five matchups to determine who will be crowned champion in each of the five classifications of prep football in the Cowboy State. Seven teams return to Laramie that were there a year ago. Campbell County in Class 4A is in the title game for the first time since 2015. Mountain View in 2A is back in Laramie for the first time since 2019.

WYOPREPS 2025 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL SCOREBOARD

Two games, 3A on Friday and 1A 6-man on Saturday, pit the same two teams against each other for the fourth year in a row. Two teams, Sheridan and Star Valley, carry lengthy winning streaks into the championships. The Broncs have the third-longest winning streak in the nation at 54 games, while Star Valley has won 32 straight. Here are the five games.

November 14

Class 2A

Final Score: #2 Mountain View 41 #1 Big Horn 38 - Buffalos win their 7th state title in school history and first since 2019. Platts had 323 yards rushing and 3 TDs, plus threw for 162 yards and 3 TDs. Colangelo added 5 catches for 88 yards and 2 TDs and 1 INT on defense for MV. Levi Jones had 27 defensive points, including 1 of the 3 INTs for Mountain View. Hernandez had 260 yards of total offense and 4 total TDs for Big Horn in the loss.

Class 3A

Final Score: #1 Star Valley 26 #2 Cody 21 - Braves win their 4th straight title, 8th in the last 11 seasons. This is their 16th state championship overall and 33rd straight win. Hovey threw for 284 yards and 2 TDs, and added 32 yards on the ground with 2 rushing TDs. Erickson had 4 catches for 130 yards and 1 TD. Hirschi had 7 tackles, 2 pass break-ups, and 1 fumble recovery for the Braves. McFadden had 280 total offensive yards for the Broncs and threw for 2 TDs in the loss.

November 15

Class 1A-6 Man

Final Score: #1 Little Snake River 67 #2 Burlington 16 - Rattlers win back-to-back titles, 4th in the last 5 years, and 7th in school history. Ready rushed for 237 yards and 3 TDs. On defense, he had 7 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 3 INTs. Kunsman and Weeldreyer also had INTs. All 5 INTs were in the 1st half. Burlington's Aagard led the defense with 14 defense points.

Class 1A-9 Man

Final Score: #1 Pine Bluffs 48 #4 Rocky Mountain 0 - Hornets win back-to-back championships, their 3rd in the last 4 years. This is their 5th title in school history. C. Freeburg had 284 yards of total offense and 3 TDs. Scarborough added 147 rushing yards and 2 TDs. On defense, Federer had 12.5 total tackles and 1 fumble recovery. Lerwick had 1 INT and 10.5 tackles for Pine Bluffs. Moss led with 25 defensive points for the Grizzlies with 14 tackles and 1 pass breakup.

Class 4A

Final Score: #1 Sheridan 17 #2 Campbell County 10 - Broncs win their 5th straight championship, their 9th in the last 11 seasons, and 32nd in school history. Sheridan has now won 55 consecutive games. Sheridan ran for 225 yards. Rager and Reed combined for 110 yards rushing and scored the 2 TDs on the ground. Greer kicked a 36-yard field goal. Rager added 18 defensive points and forced a fumble. Blaine Phillips had a key interception. Hahn scored the 1 TD for the Camels, and Lang accounted for 184 yards of total offense. Sukut had 20.5 defensive points, which included 16 total tackles.

 

Campbell County vs. Thunder Basin Football Game 10-10-25

The Camels held off the crosstown rival Bolts, 17-14, on October 10, 2025.
