Change is sometimes hard to deal with, but in this case, the change has been a long time coming.

Racca's Pizzeria Napoletana in Casper has a new owner.

If you're a regular at Racca's, the new owner isn't new to you. The new owner is Rachel Mondle. Rachel has been a server at the restaurant since 2016, and quickly moved up to being the general manager, so she's definitely very familiar with the restaurant.

Rachel's journey seems like it could be the plot to a Hollywood movie. Have goals, work hard, have struggles, persevere and good things will happen. The best part about Rachel's movie storyline is, that it's not ending, just setting the scene for the sequel.

Here's how we got to this part of the journey...

Mark and Kristy Dym opened Racca's in Casper, but were still focusing on their thriving Denver based restaurant called Marco's Coal-Fired. Having restaurants in Denver and Casper is a difficult task. Even though we'd all like to be able to be in two places at once, it's not possible. So, Mark and Kristy had to rely on their leaders here in Casper to keep things moving along.

That's exactly what they got in Rachel.

In a press release on their website, Mark Dym said

We know that Rachel is the perfect person to carry on what we’ve begun and build upon it with her own ideas and new traditions. We are confident that she will take Racca's to new heights

The release goes on to say:

The transition of ownership will not result in any immediate changes to the restaurant's menu, staff, or day-to-day operations. Customers can continue to expect the same exceptional service and the high-quality, authentic Italian cuisine that Racca's Pizzeria Napoletana is known for.

This change in ownership represents a new and exciting phase in the restaurant's history, and it reaffirms Racca's commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences for years to come.
