Step Into The Spotlight As Spudly At Casper Spuds Games
When you're walking around Mike Lansing Field during a Casper Spuds game, the atmosphere is outstanding. The smell of a baseball game is one of my favorite pleasures. Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, beer, and freshly cut and watered grass. Then you factor in all of the cool sounds, like the crack of the bat, the pop of the ball hitting a glove, even the sound of players' spikes crunching in the dirt, and the sounds of the crowd cheering. THEN, you have to consider all of the sites around the park, like the popping purple uniforms, the flag waving in center field, the players tossing the ball, the kids running around, and Spudly running around, taking pictures with fans.
Just thinking about it is getting me charged up for baseball season, which is only 2 1/2 months away, but before the season gets here, there's some business that needs to be taken care of in the organization. As I mentioned above, Spudly is a big part of the team, the atmosphere, and the joy of a Spuds baseball game. The Casper Spuds have announced they are seeking a dedicated performer to wear the Spudly costume for the 2026 season.
