MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) — A road in Grand Teton National Park has been cleared of snow and is now open to people out walking, biking and roller-blading.

Park officials announced Wednesday they've opened Teton Park Road from Taggart Lake trailhead to Signal Mountain Lodge. The road had been closed for winter.

The 14-mile stretch of road won't open to motorized vehicles until May 1. Until then, park officials will allow non-motorized use but warn of lingering slick patches of snow and ice.
