Former State Representative, Mike Gilmore, will make a run to regain his Wyoming House seat in the fall.

The Democrat previously served as representative for House District 59, which includes parts of west Casper, Mills and Mountain View from 2008 through 2010.

"Ya know, I've prided myself on being very non-partisan and so I just thought about it for the last six months and thought I really want to try again and continue some of my work."

That's work that, Gilmore says, includes lobbying for access to public lands for Wyoming hunters, the building up of state infrastructure, and securing bidding preference for Wyoming contractors.

Gilmore currently chairs the board of the Community Health Center of Central Wyoming and he also serves on the CASA-Court Appointed Special Advocate-board, for abused and neglected children.
