One of the successful candidates for the Natrona County Commission attended nearly every meeting over many months leading up to the election. Forest Chadwick's time was not wasted. He was successful in his run and is ready to go.

"That was my whole intent the entire time that if I did make it that I would be able to be of immediate usefulness to the rest of the commissioners and not be too big a burden on them. I know I still have a lot to learn and I'm looking forward to doing the county's work."

Chadwick says the budget is the first order of business. Chadwick served for ten years on the Natrona County Fair board and is vice chairman of the Natrona County Republican party. He will take up the seat lost at the republican primary by current commissioner Ed Opella. Incumbent Matt Keating was also successful in his bid for re-election on Tuesday night.
